Love (Always) Wins
Valentine’s Day is coming up and due to unforeseen events, I am going to have to cancel my reservation to Candle Cafe. But I’m not going to be bitter. Instead, I’m going to give you some groovy things to do that will put you in the mood. Even if that mood is with yourself.
February 9, 2009 – I Heart PRNewser Party by MediaBistro @ The Hill on 29th and 3rd. Ok, maybe this event is slightly slanted toward industry professionals, but I RSVP’d and think it would be nice to meet peeps. If you’re not in PR, I’m sure you can still crash the party.
February 11, 2009 – Attend the Love Wins Workshop with Life Coach and all-around-awesome lady, Gabrielle Berstein. Gabrielle will share empowering tools for releasing fear in romantic relationships and uncovering the true meaning of love. I recently went to a meditation workshop with Gab and she was downright awesome. I’m currently highlighting and rereading Gabrielle’s book Add More ~ing (more on that later) and would highly recommend checking this out. Click here for more info.
February 12, 2009 – Valentine’s Day the movie comes out. Ok. Done. Also a good time to buy last minute gifts for your sister, friend and yourself.
February 13, 2009 – You’re one day closer, and if you’re in NYC, it’s time to make a reservation at Candle Cafe. Actually you can have mine if you want it. 8:30pm for two. CC has an amazing Vday line-up.
February 14, 2009 - The day has come. Eat some vegan sticky buns , drink some vegan wine and be merry in your bed while romantic comedies play on repeat. (My suggestions: Definitely, Maybe and 27 Dresses).
